Each interaction between LOT Academy and our students
serves to expand awareness and reinforce development of the following
fundamental leadership skills: Making Decisions, Accepting Differences,
Anger Management, Relational Skills, and Self-Esteem. These skills are
known collectively as MAARS.

At the Jackson Mann Elementary
School students have the opportunity to learn healthy strategies for
solving problems, managing their anger and maintaining a positive view
of themselves. Additionally, families can receive the support of a LOT
Counselor as they identify and problem-solve behavioral issues of
concern that may be impacting their child's learning.

Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Academy, is part of the
student support team at Brighton High School. LOT Academy aids the
school's retention efforts, motivates students for academic success,
helps set academic goals, and problem-solve obstacles to learning
including attendance challenges. These endeavors support a student's
growing vision for a successful future.
