Rebecca C. Thompson, LCSW

Youth & Group Specialist Leaders Academy/Brighton High School

Rebecca holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Boston College and a master's degree in Social Work from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. Before joining the Leaders team, she completed a one year advanced post-master's fellowship with the Danielsen Institute, a mental health clinic at Boston University. Before graduate school she worked (and lived!) with adolescents in a residential scholarship program, and she is delighted to be working with teens again at Brighton High. Outside of work Rebecca enjoys cultivating her mind/body/spirit connection with yoga & tai-chi, singing, and being outdoors in nature. She is also committed to community projects such as Habitat for Humanity, and being involved with various social justice ministries in her church.

Cecilia Villero, MSW

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Cecilia graduated from University of California at Santa Cruz with her B.A. in Psychology, and received her Masters in Social Work with a Certificate in Human Services Management from Boston University. Having been a Social Work intern with Leaders, she is excited to continue working with both the Jackson-Mann Elementary School and Brighton High School.
