Our mission is to infuse young people with the skills necessary
to effectively navigate through life’s ever-changing waters, allowing
each individual the broadest opportunity to achieve personal
fulfillment and to make positive contributions to society.
LOT Inc. strives to weave educators, community
providers, family members, and other caring adults into a web so secure
that no child can slip through.
We
utilize the strengths perspective in all of our work with, and on
behalf of, students. LOT Academy's program maximizes all opportunities
to offer care and support to students, to encourage them to maintain
high expectations of themselves (as we do of them), and to see value in
their participation and contributions to their classroom, communities,
and to society as a whole.
In addition, LOT Academy takes a
holistic approach in its services, understanding that home, school, and
community lives influence each child. As such, consideration and
support are extended to all caretakers and educators to facilitate the
most positive impact that influential adults can have on the life of a
young person.
