Leaders of Tomorrow
WELCOME

Leaders of Tomorrow, Inc. (Leaders) is a nonprofit organization committed to the social and emotional development of children, adolescents and young adults.

Leaders operates a school-based learning support program. Our work very much aligns with a school’s larger commitment to academic achievement and civic responsibility. Leaders takes a holistic approach to youth development. We understand that home, school, and social lives influence each child.

As an organization, Leaders appreciates, understands and speaks the language of today's youth. This creates an atmosphere of trust allowing increased service opportunities to our young people.

Leaders helps its student members identify and develop their individual strengths, and encourages them to maintain high expectations of themselves. Students are encouraged to see value in their participation and their contributions in the classroom, to their communities, and to society as a whole.

Leaders’ program maximizes all opportunities to offer care and support to students, to encourage them to maintain high expectations of themselves (as we do of them), and to see value in their participation and contributions to their classroom, communities, and to society as a whole.

Leaders’ believes that people should never be seen as a collection of needs and deficits, but viewed instead from a strengths perspective. We utilize this strengths perspective in all of our work with, and on behalf of, students.

In addition, Leaders’ takes a holistic approach in its services, understanding that home, school and community lives influence each child.

As such, consideration and support are extended to all caretakers and educators to facilitate the most positive impact that influential adults can have on the life of a young person.

Leaders inspires students to gain another perspective… What students
don’t realize is that [in the process] they’ve learned to become inclusive
leaders, gained strategies for thinking critically, and [gained] more
confidence in themselves as they set their goals.
